Lots and lots of more pics of Emily, and some of Eva as well, under here!! Yay teh pretty!!

I really really love her hair...

Yum, tie!

Can you tell that this is an old episode?

We had something in 1st grade called 'proper writing' or whatever, where we learned to write old-fashioned long-hand as opposed to the printing letters we'd practiced when we learned the alphabet, and I was banned from this because I held my pencil just like that. I was told that if I persisted I would never be able to write properly, and I would be doomed to writing by printing letter by letter and it would significantly both slow me down, and look ugly, and until I learned proper holding technique I would not get the next writing practice book because it was no use until I'd learned. Now, it may very well be that Em's holding technique might cause more tension in the hand, or whatever, but it does not affect the actual quality of the writing produced. Not that I'm bitter or anything. But there are few things I hate more than realizing I've been lied to as a child. (Not to go off on a tangent, or anything, but also this other time, when I was playing mob boss with a friend of mine at the playground, and we were using cattail for cigars, and my friend's mother told us very seriously to stop immediately and not put it in our mouths again because it was poisonous. Now, I'm sure in her own way what she was trying to do was prevent us from smoking, but as the child of two plant physiologists, I didn't even associate it with smoking at all. However, I believed until I was fairly old that it was a poisonous plant, and it's totally not, some of them are even used in food. Again, not bitter at all.)

Now, this only makes sense...

...if you can see what she's looking at. This takes place right after this quote.

Again, old episode. The colours are different, and her hair is so much less glamorous...

Awww... pouty sad puppy face...

Wounded puppy v2.0

Looks! She does it so well... sad look v3.0

Just a tad of manipulation here...

A little more manipulation here... but they make a striking couple, don't they?
