11. "O Fortuna" from "Carmina Burana", though it's debatable whether it should be considered the first line or not, since the text starts with "O Furtuna, velut Luna, status variabilis".

I'll have to steal this meme. Should be fun. :-P

Well, it certainly is a part of O Fortuna. However, the particular file I have is called The Mass, is sung by ERA, and begins with these words. A quick search also comes up with The Mass by Eros Ramazzotti which has the lyrics beginning with these words. It's certainly related to Carmina Burana, though.

Right. It has been used in a bunch of pop/ethereal/new age songs. Enigma also used heavy samples from Carl Orff's Carmina Burana music on one of their albums.
