Have a nice weekend, people! I'm off for a two-day orienteering event, and I seriously doubt I'll see any signs of civilization internet while I'm there. I'm even going to be brave and not bring Precious. Shall I survive two days without her? I'm hoping to force myself to finish Affinity, but I'm bringing some Laurie King for comfort. Still, it's gonna be fun, and I'll be back by late Monday. So see you then!

In other news, M and I saw Transamerica the other day, and I was wondering if anyone had opinions on whether the son is gay, bi, or just uses it to make money off it? I thought it was the last one, at first, but then I thought I saw a hint of subtext in that swimming scene with the hippie who stole their car, and I started wondering. Opinions, anyone?
