There are all these pic!spammy lists I wanna make, but I never get around to it... however, every year (or at least every other year) I try to make a pic!spam of my Top 10 Hottest Ladies. The limiting thing is that I already have a relatively solid Top 10 list, and there's rarely room for more than one or two new faces whenever I make it (compare 2005, 2006, 2009, and my votes for the AfterEllen Hot 100 in 2008, 2009, 2010), and because the last year has been very good to me in terms of new interesting ladies, I'll do it a little bit differently. So here goes!
[1] - List your top 10 celebrity crushes that have come into your life in the last year.
[2] - Put all of them IN ORDER of your lust for them. (10 to 1, 1 being your number one fixation)
[3] - Say which movie/show/thing it was that hooked you.
[4] - Supply photos for said people.
Nationalities noted because someone asked me how many Canadians were on my obsessions list, and it made me wonder. I think Christina was my first, and now they're all over the place.

Runner-up: Sofia Vergara - Columbian - I feel like... I'm a bit reluctant to admit how much I like her, because she's so mainstream, and so far out of my usual genres that I don't really know what to do with her. But I kinda love Modern Family, and Sofia is frickin' brilliant and absolutely hilarious in interviews, so I feel like I have to at least mention her.

10. Tabrett Bethell - Australian - Ah, Cara. Cara has the best haughty looks, sarcastic eyerolls, and superior pouts of anyone I've seen on TV in a long time.

9. Sasha Alexander - American - I admit I started watching Rizzoli & Isles because of Angie Harmon (who is not on this list because I've adored her since I was 13 years old and my favourite show was Baywatch Nights), but as the episodes went by I started more and more looking forward to Maura's scenes almost more than Rizzoli's sometimes, because she's adorable and socially awkward and knows everything, and <3.

8. Nathalie Lisinska - British/Canadian - I have a shameful admission here. Within two months I'd seen her *twice*, first on The Dresden Files and then on Lost Girl (to be fair; I was distracted by the presence of #1 and #7 in her scenes), and then when I started watching InSecurity I didn't even recognize her. As Alex Cranston she has this amazing goofy energy that just lifts every scene she's in, and gave me a whole new appreciation of her!

7. Anna Silk - Canadian - Mmmmm, Bo on Lost Girl - where "bisexual" means something more than 'kisses women during sweeps'. She's gorgeous and kicks ass well, and that loooong dark gorgeous hair.

6. Julie Benz - American - I blame Jaime Murray for this one. But I love her different energies, comparing Stephanie Powell's relaxed yet contained maturity with the goofy lovable Robin the Lesbian Stripper on Desperate Housewives.

5. Bridget Regan - American - Have you seen Kahlan's hair? I mean, come on! How could I resist? (It's sort of disturbing that the more I like someone, the more I comment on their appearance because appearance alone is almost never what makes me fall for someone.)

4. Lisa Edelstein - American - Lisa Edelstein is pseudo-cheating because I've been aware of her being pretty since before, but then I saw a screen cap of Cuddy from the beginning of season 7 and I went *OMG HER HAIR*, and realized the time had come for me to start watching House, and she became a Crush Proper for the first time.

3. Chely Wright - American - Ah, darling Chely. You all know how I feel about Chely. Pretty, gay, out, intelligent, articulate, awesome!

2. Jaime Murray - British - Had I made this a month ago, Jaime would have topped the list, but as excited as I was about Spartacus before it came on air, once it started I found myself almost distancing myself a little from her in order, I think, to protect myself from the inevitable heartache that would come (well-founded worry, it turned out). Still, much much <3.

1. Joanne Kelly - Canadian - I've been on this awesome Joanne-high for the last few weeks (with a break in the middle for Amanda, of course :P ). Warehouse 13 is such a good show for me, which is almost solely thanks to Joanne and Jaime, and I've been watching a lot of season 1 lately, which sadly Jaime isn't in, but it's made my Joanne *squee!!!* go through the roof. And I've watched a bunch of her older stuff as well, which is <3. I'm just saddened that if this keeps up I'm gonna have to get a hold of Bay of Love and Sorrows, because I found a clip online and she's absolutely heartbreakingly lovely, but uhm... I hear it doesn't end so well (if the title hadn't already clued one in).
Honorable Mentions - because they've been around longer than a year, but not long enough to have made my previous Top 10 lists:

Amanda Tapping - British/Canadian - What can I say about Amanda? Seriously. Comparatively she hasn't been around that long, but she's the real thing. Stephanie Zimbalist, Gillian Anderson, Lucy Lawless, Tina Fey, Amanda Tapping. The obsessions that come and stay and become something *more* at some point. Eventually you don't *need* to stay up to date with *everything* they do, but there's a constant awareness of the impact they've had in your life.

Claudia Black - Australian - I tried Farscape I swear I did, but... *sigh* However, Vala is made of *win* with her shiny hair decorations and her ditzy yet infinitely more profound than she lets on ways. And Claudia is just lovely.
