So AfterEllen's Hot 100 2009 is finally up!! Yay!!! I gotta say, though, that it felt like it was significantly more people this year that I felt exceedingly neutral (bored) towards. It feels like previous years, even when it's people I haven't voted for, there's still been a lot of people on the list that I like, but I guess that's what I get for not following any of the newer shows. The 'of color' thing is weird though. And I so agree with the discussion on the site that how come people from Spain are considered 'of color', when (for example) people with Greek descent (Tina Fey - but then we get to people like Nia Vardalos, whom some people consider 'of color' because she's niched in her ethnic heritage while Tina Fey is more mainstream), or (you know) Hungarian (Mariska), aren't. I don't know.

And if you find it odd that there are people bolded above that aren't on here, I will admit that I began watching SVU after I'd submitted my original vote and made these, but before the voting period was over, and so I shamelessly bought 3 votes from a friend and added Mariska, Angie Harmon, and Stephanie March.
