Dina was *gorgeous*, of course, but I also realized that I stopped watching that show for a reason. A lot of reasons actually, but most of them beginning with '(W)Horatio...' *shudder*
So Dina was gorgeous and evil. Terribly annoying. I realize (as the said on Women's Murder Club the other night), that statistically, the spouse did it, but dude, that damn Rita-chick totally started it, and then all of a sudden they weren't interested in her, because she didn't finish the job?? Bah. She stabs him, severs his whatever thing and paralyses him, as well as completely severing his artery, but whatever, it didn't kill him, so the wife is totally the evil one for pulling out the knife?? Wouldn't it have been so much easier if she'd have just fessed up immediately and claimed she was medically aware enough to realize it would kill him?? 'I heard him groan, and pulled out the knife because I thought I could save him'?? Bah. And also, how likely were they to keep him alive had they had a whole team of doctors, anyway??? Dude was stabbed badly in the neck.
But Dina was pretty, and that's the most important part. So lovely to see her again after all this time. I love her voice. And her sexy lips. And her hair. And all of her, really. Mmmmm... Where are those Birds of Prey tapes I should have lying around??
And what's the deal with Calleigh and ugly-ass cop dude??? YUCK! Good on Stetler for breaking them up!! I mean, it's sad that Calleigh looked sad, and all, but sweetheart, if you'd just come to your senses and realize that Megan is the woman for you... She didn't seem to pissed off at Delko, though, for telling on them. Lacking any decent current female characters to ship Calleigh with (I love Alexx, but that's just so, so, wrong), Delko's the second best... Is it two or three fics I've written for them? Hmm... gotta check.
Finally, not a whole lot of (W)Horatio in this ep, for a change! Yay! Sadly, any (W)Horatio at all is too much (W)Horatio. My gawd.
Yeah, I'm not really into this show any longer. Sad, but true. I love Calleigh, and Alexx, and the sun and palm trees and warmth of Miami (I wanna go to Miami! Anyone wants to come with me?), but it doesn't weigh up the horror of (W)Horatio, and the annoyance of straight!Calleigh with an ugly-ass boyfriend who *dumps* her over a little bump in the road. Come on, idiot, that's *Calleigh*, and you had her, and you dump her???? Are you insane??? And they made Dina Meyer evil. I may never forgive them.
I need a Dina Meyer icon.
In other news, life is crazy. Good crazy most of the time, bad crazy when it's too much crazy occasionally. Nothing unusual for December. I'll blog about it if I ever find the time, or possibly I'll be telling ya'll about it in January. I do keep up with flist, but actually blogging takes more energy. Ehem.
